What instrument is called the mirror of the soul, why does an orchestra need a conductor, why is it necessary to listen to each other when playing music - the answers to these and many other questions in the educational program for children "Ringing Forest" in 2025. February 8 invites you to discover the "Palanga Orchestra".
The aim of the educational program is to promote children's creativity, cultural awareness and musical understanding by introducing them to the world of the orchestra, its instruments and the concept of harmony. During the program, children not only hear how various instruments sound, but also take part in a theatrical narrative of a musical journey, which develops their imagination and involves them in an active cognitive process.
Education takes place in the theater hall of the Palanga Kurhaus, where the children embark on a musical journey. a trip through the "Ringing Forest". An actress accompanies the participants, inviting children to interact with the "forest dwellers" - performers of wind and percussion instruments. Together with the members of the orchestra and the conductor, children perform tasks aimed at getting to know the instruments, listening to the harmony of music, learning to recognize different sounds, and at the same time to better understand and hear each other.
Education develops children's cultural awareness, stimulates interest music and other art forms, develops critical thinking, communication and cooperation skills. Children learn to listen and discover the joy of music.
A trip to the "Ringing Forest" is recommended for children aged 5-9, but it will not harm parents and grandparents either.
