What instrument is called the soul mirror, who needs a conductor for the orchestra, why it is necessary to listen to each other - answers to these and many other questions in the educational program for children "Sounding Forest" June 29th. 12 p.m. invites you to discover Palanga Orchestra.
The aim of the educational program is to promote children's creativity, cultural awareness and musical understanding by introducing them to the world of orchestra, its instruments and the concept of harmony. During the program, children not only hear how various instruments sound, but also participate in the theatrical story of a musical journey that develops their imagination and involves the active cognitive process.
Education takes place in the Palanga Kurhaus Theater Hall, where children are on a musical journey through the "Sounding Forest". Participants are accompanied by the actress, inviting children to communicate with "forest residents" - wind and percussion performers. Together with the members of the orchestra and conductor, children perform tasks for knowing the instruments, listening to the harmony of music, learning how to recognize different sounds, and at the same time understand and hear each other better.
Education develops children's cultural awareness, promotes interest in music and other art forms, develops critical thinking, communication and collaboration skills. Children learn to listen and discover the joy of music.
The journey through the "Sounding Forest" is recommended for children aged 5-9, but will not hurt parents and grandparents either.
