Festival opening concert. Mūza Rubackytė presents the program "From the Baltic to Adriatic". The legendary Lithuanian pianist Musa Rubackytė subtly combines different epochs and cultures in this program, revealing the harmony of musical craftsmanship and history. Having accumulated a huge repertoire in his arsenal, Diva Palanga Kurhaus Concert Hall has chosen an extremely subtle program at the 12th International M.K. Čiurlionis festival opening concert and at the same time technically demanding program, which will focus on the 150th birth anniversary. The creation of this Lithuanian genius combines music, painting and literature, thus creating a special atmosphere that M. Rubackytė will reveal with her subtlety. The concert will also feature works by one of the best pianist of all time in Žasliai, a leopold Godowski, which will be perfect for the painting ulcers of modern composer Raminta Šerkšnytė, and the most wonderful parts of the Wand of Ferenc Liszt's "Wandering". Born in Lithuania, Mūza Rubackytė, who is currently in Vilnius, Paris and Geneva, is actively on all continents, the most famous concert halls of the world and with the most prominent conductors and orchestras. Studied at the Lithuanian Conservatoire (now Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, LMTA) and Moscow State P. Tchaikovsky Conservatoire. After becoming the winner of the entire union competition, he earned recognition as one of the best USSR pianists. defeated at the prestigious international Liszt -Bartók pianist competition in Budapest.
