About the performer:
Mūza Rubackytė, the winner of the Lithuanian National Culture and Art Prize, the founder and artistic director of the Vilnius Piano Music Festival, is one of the most prominent Lithuanian pianists and ambassadors of musical culture. She is the winner of Leszto-Bartok and Les Grand Maîtres Français competitions, winner of prestigious awards, including the Lithuanian National Culture and Art Prize and the Hungarian Order of Merit Knights. The pianist's work includes the works of both F. Liszt and Shostakovich and Čiurlionis. She cooperates with famous composers and performs her program at prestigious festivals such as the F. Liszto Festival Raiding and Bairoite. M. Rubackytė recorded more than 30 albums and her discs earned the highest ratings. The pianist actively teaches and participates in international competitions and masterclasses. 2024. She will lead C. Debussy's hometown for the inauguration concert of the musical season. 2020 Her autobiographical book "Born under the Piano" was published in 2024.
