The Star Sonata concert is an unforgettable musical journey with pianist Johan Randvere (Estonia).
Johan Randvere is a pianist whose talent and charisma conquer not only Estonia but the whole world. Constantly performing in prestigious halls of the world, such as New York Carnegie Hall, Randvere is famous not only for his solo performances, but also as an exclusive chamber music artist.
During the 13th International M.K. Čiurlionis Festival, classical music will be performed very rarely, and a special highlight-M.K. Čiurlionis Sonata F-Dur, which is likely to be performed for the first time in Palanga. This extraordinary work, like all Čiurlionis' work, combines music with visual art, creating loud landscapes that matches the seaside environment.
The program will be supplemented by works by other composers: Erkki-sven Tüür Modern and Dynamic Sonata, Richard Strauss and Percy Gainger's love duo from "Rose Cavalier", Maurice Ravel subtle "Pavana" and glittering "Water Play" 49.

About the performer:
Johan Randvere performed with the Latvian National Symphony, Tymen Philharmonic, Pärn City, Belarusian State Radio Symphony, Estonian National Symphony, Vanemuiu Symphony, Tallinn Chamber Orchestras, Critical Snks, Rista Joostas, Grigori. Jüri Alpeten, Erki Pehkus, Mihhail Gerts, Sashai Mäkilä, Kaspar Mänd, Jaan Ots and others.
Randvere has been successfully performed in many national and international competitions, including 1st place in the Klkaviermusik competition in Vilnius (2008), 1st place and Grand Prix in the Catania Music Competition in Italy (2012), 1st place and Grand Prix International Andrea Baldi Piano Competition in Italy (2014) Estonian National Piano Competition (2014) and others.
Johan is not only a great soloist, but also a chamber music artist who is constantly performing with famous Estonian musicians. The Randvere's piano trio won the audience award and the Holland Music Sessions Special Award at the con rio competition (2010). He is currently actively performing with pianist Justas Šervenik, the Trene Tempus Balticus and the Piazzollos music band Nortango.
Johann was studying at Tallinn Music Secondary School and Milan Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory, and is currently continuing their doctoral studies at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater, where he deepens his knowledge with Professor Ilya.
In addition, Johan is also a TV presenter who has been leading a popular show on pianists on Classical Radio for many years.
The 13th International M.K. Čiurlionis Music Festival is part of the Čiurlionis 150 anniversary program.
