"Seaside Visions" is a magical evening of piano duo Riktere and Zbignev Ibelhaupture, where the past and present, nature and human creation will meet.
The 13th International M. K. Čiurlionis Music Festival invites you to an unforgettable evening of piano music "Seaside Visions", which will bring together the creative spirit of M. K. Čiurlionis, the composition of the musical vision inspired by nature and the compositions of the romantic era. This exclusive concert will be performed by a well -known piano duo - Ruth Richeter and Zbignev Ibelhaupt, whose unique interpretations will reveal even a well -known classic ensemble repertoire.
The axis of the program is Čiurlionis' musical worldview, pervading the entire concert and revealing his canon as-Dur and impromptu fis-moll (arranging Kestutis Grybauskas).
The concert will be opened by Carl Reinecke, whose "festive overture" will combine the spirit of Čiurlionis' creative teacher with an academic, yet subtle and emotional musical style. Next, Edward Grieg's Norwegian Dance, which is reflected in the interest of Nicholas Constantine as the elements of national music - both composers have skillfully united folk music motifs with romantic harmony. Robert Schumann's impromptures from "Oriental Paintings" will involve listeners in the colorful poetic world, and Ferenc Liszt's "preludes" will greatly end the evening with a wave of emotions that blend in with the harmony of nature and human life.
Piano Zbignev Ibelhaupt and Rūta Richetere duo do not need to present the Lithuanian audience. For many years they have been visible in our music panorama for many years. As the duo existed since 1989, the duo offers fun, unexpected programs every time, paying special attention to new music. The pianists are the works of many Lithuanian authors for two piano performers of world premiere, and the most interesting opuses of foreign composers in Lithuanian scenes also sound thanks to this duo.

The duo of the Lithuanian National Culture and Art Prize winners Z.Ibelhaupt and R.Kricterė piano duo are constantly appearing at prestigious international festivals such as "Warsaw Autumn" (Poland), Musikhost (Denmark), Music Niagara (Canada), Liublosana Summer Festival (Slovenia)
The pianists participated in all major Lithuanian festivals: Vilnius, Pažaislis, Thomas Mann, Rooster and others. The duo prepares not only solo recitals, but also programs with singers, other soloists and orchestras.
The duo has performed with the National Symphony, Lithuanian National Symphony, Lithuanian Chamber, Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestras, conducting Arthur Tamayo, David Grangean, Olivier Grangean, Jose Serebrier, Pavel Berman, Juozas Domarkis to the trampoline masters. The duo called recitals in Japan, Canada, Switzerland, Italy, France, Germany, Ireland, Latvia and other countries.
The 13th International M.K. Čiurlionis Music Festival is part of the Čiurlionis 150 anniversary program.
