Celebrating the 150th anniversary of the birth of M. K. Čiurlionis, his work is still a source of inspiration for many artists, and his music is excited and fascinated by the hearts of listeners. The project "Following Čiurlionis" is an interpretation of Lithuanian genius music, whose beauty, fragility and grandeur is presented by two masters of jazz and improvisational music - Dmitry Golovanov and Jan Maksimovich, the masters of jazz and improvisational music. Their skills and experience allow you to competently develop a possible scenario of Čiurlionis' music development.

The concert program "Afterwards Čiurlionis" consists of arranged M.K. Čiurlionis preludes for piano. Preludes, as a historically formed genre of improvisational music, fits well with the philosophy of jazz masters and improvisers. The "followed Čiurlionis" program uniquely reveals an attitude towards the interpretation of Čiurlionis music: it develops the cultural dialogue between classical music, contemporary jazz and improvisation. When interpreting preludes, music renounces jazz stereotypes, uses authentic motifs, characteristic elements of Čiurlionis' harmony and music language. This duo, which is almost a telepathic connection, gives meaning to Čiurlionis' music by transforming and transforming it into large improvisational forms. The latest, 2025 will also be presented during the concert. The CD album "After Čiurlionis" was released, which listeners will be able to purchase after the concert.
