MARTYNAS LEVICKIS (accordion)

Martynas Levickis is a world-renowned performer who constantly expands the limits of the accordion's possibilities. He is famous for his ability to combine classical, tango and electronic music, often performing in unconventional spaces. The Independent newspaper described the musician as "an astonishingly talented man who single-handedly reinvented the accordion".
A graduate of London's Royal Academy of Music and Musikene in San Sebastián, the artist became the first accordionist signed to Decca Classics and reached number one in the UK Classical Albums Chart. The musician, who has received more than 30 international awards, now appears at the most important European festivals, collaborates with the highest level of music and is welcomed on the most prestigious stages of the world.

He is the founder of the Mikroorkéstra ensemble, creator of international musical initiatives and residencies, teaches at the Royal Academy of Music and consistently nurtures the culture of the Baltic countries. International recognition is also evidenced by the success of the album "Autograph" - Martynas was recognized as the best of 2023 at the prestigious "OPUS Klassik" awards for the album recorded at Paliesius Manor and published by "ACCENTUS Music". instrumentalist.
