"IS AMERIKA IN THE BATH?!" is the first Lithuanian play revived with music and songs, touring the halls of Lithuanian cities with great success.
"Ah, America ..." - repeatedly sighed the heroes of the performance, fully understanding that "it is good where we are not". Here, Lithuanian shingles will crush the mirages of the "promised land" to pieces, and the heat of the sauna will wittily expose the weaknesses of the gullible and the deceit of the selfish. The characters (and maybe ourselves) will be made fun of by human vices turned into cartoon characters: greed, stupidity and pride.
The director Nerijaus Petrokos revived the plot of the classical Lithuanian play with melodies specially arranged by the well-known TV project conductor Vytautas Lukočius. An attractive creative idea is realized in the halls of Lithuania by the stage designer Deivis Norvilas, the charming Sandra Lebrikaitė and the artists of the Kaunas music ensemble "Ainiai".
