The XXII International Chaim Frenkel Villa Festival - Egidijus Buois Quartet - is a gathering of four exclusive musicians, which blends jazz classics, modern improvisation and copyright. Quartet leader - pianist and composer Egidijus Buožis, known for his versatility and subtle musical taste. His compositions are emotional musical narratives that combine academic foundation and jazz freedom.

The quartet is played by experienced stage professionals: Artūras Chalikov (acoustic and electric guitar), Arthurs Duckis (bass guitar) and Darius Rudis (percussion). Each of them is not only a master in his field, but also a sensitive creator of the ensemble sound. Together, they create vigorous, melodic, often even cinematic impact on jazz world.

This quartet is a living, breathable organism where every sound makes sense. Contemporary, but the roots, the music that can touch both the mind and the heart. It is a concert where jazz becomes close to everyone.

The concert will be performed by the author's compositions of Egidijus Buois.

Artistic director of the festival - winner of the Lithuanian National Prize, conductor Robert Šervenikas.
