Duet "Perfect Nemesis" - accordionist Girmantė Bubelytė and guitarist Mantas Ralovėcas - will present their debut album "From Trance To Dance" live on October 8. The title is not a metaphor: the music actually begins in meditative silence and gradually grows, transforms, explodes until it reaches the energy of the dance beat. The performers create this transformation without any additional instrument - only an accordion and a guitar, only two voices, only sensitivity to each other.
The work of "Perfect Nemesis" intertwines personal experiences and travel impressions from the lands of Mexico, the stone streets of Italy, the sun of Spain. Their instrumental music has the precision of modern classics, the colorfulness of world music and the discipline of minimalism. The collective has already charmed the listeners in the full halls of the Pažaislis and Kristupas festivals, so to see them in "Polifonija" is an exceptional opportunity.
The most important values of this duo are authenticity, simplicity and communication with the listener. This is not a concert from the stage to the hall, it is a lively, sensitive meeting.
