Four pianists. One piano. And the spectacle that is expected from the opera house, but it comes to the chamber hall.
Chamber ensemble "Neiskiriamieji Pianistai" - Lukas Gedvilas, Lauryna Lankutytė, Gabija Maknavičiūtė and Kamilė Zaveckaitė - learned together over fifteen years what no conservatory can teach: to be one organism. In this project, they don't just play - they move, change places, react to each other with body and sound, create choreographically changing positions. The music here opens not only through hearing, but also through the eyes – it is a symphony born on stage.
The program is constructed with a clear dramaturgy: it begins with a solo by one pianist. In each successive piece, more and more hands join the piano, until finally a full eight-hand quartet blossoms. The repertoire includes exclusively dances, ballet and symphonic operas: fiery Spanish dances by M. Moszkowski, "Habanera" and "Fishes" from Eglės čiai karileenė by E. Balsis, miniatures by M. K. Čiurlionis, "Zorba's dance" by M. Theodorakis with possible integrated choreography and gallop by A. Lavignac - the finale fireworks.
