MARCELIS BEEKMAN, who lives in Amsterdam, is well-known in the world of music as a singer of versatile performing activities - this includes a large number of prepared operatic roles, as well as concerts of old and contemporary music. He performed the repertoire of German, Italian and French baroque music in various concert halls and festivals around the world. The singer's mastery in interpreting the avant-garde repertoire is often emphasized. M. Beekman's operatic repertoire includes a wide range of roles. Dutch critics especially appreciated his performance of the role of the Pope in composer Louis Andriessen's last opera "Theatre of the World". in 2017 a recording of this opera was released by the Los Angeles Philharmonic (Nonesuch label) and was nominated for the 2018 BBC Music Magazine Awards. Pianist JUSTAS ŠERVENIKAS, who was born into a family of musicians, started his first music lessons at the age of eight at the Vilnius B. Dvarion's ten-year music school (teacher: J. Augaitienė's class), since 2002. studied at the National M.K. Čiurlionis School of Arts (class of Prof. V. Vitaitė), and in 2006 entered the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater (LMTA, prof. V. Vitaitės class), where in 2013 completed master's studies; in addition, in 2008-2009 the pianist studied at the Hanover High School of Music and Theater. Since 2006 J. Šerveniks started an active concert activity, appeared on various Lithuanian concert stages - the Lithuanian National Philharmonic, Klaipėda Concert Hall, Kaunas Philharmonic and many others. As a soloist or member of chamber ensembles, he toured in Belarus, Belgium, Denmark, Great Britain, Estonia, Poland, Italy, Latvia, Norway, Russia, Germany, Mexico. Played together with the Lithuanian National, LMTA, Parnas, and San Luis Potosi city symphony, Klaipėda and Lithuanian chamber orchestras, "Skipton Camerata". In recent years, the pianist has been paying more and more attention to chamber music, his regular stage partners are Dutch tenor Marcel Beekman, French violinist Philippe Grafine, Estonian pianist Jochan Randvere and Lithuanian bassist Tadas Girininkas.
