Liene Andreta Kalnciema was born in Riga, the capital of Latvia, and has completed her piano studies at the Jāzep Vītola Latvian Academy of Music (in the class of Prof. Ventis Zilberts) and the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater (in the class of Prof. Ivari Ilja). He received his second master's degree - organ performance - at the Jāzep Vītola Academy of Music in Latvia under prof. Vitus Kalnciemas. Love for both instruments led Liene to choose the piano and the organ, which is not surprising since her father is a pianist and her mother is an organist.

Liene Andreta started playing the piano when she was five years old. Later, choosing the professional path of music, she won recognition in several international prestigious piano competitions. In addition to solo programs, she also collaborated with other instrumentalists, singers and even dancers, creating chamber music programs.

Lienė is one of the most prominent Latvian organists of her generation, who has gained wide international recognition. This is evidenced by the highest awards in many important international competitions: 1st place and the award for the best performance of works by Peter Eben at the International Peter Eben Organ Competition (Czech Republic, 2010), 3rd places in international organ competitions in the Netherlands and Denmark, and active concert programs throughout Europe .

The artist has participated in various master courses, international festivals and regularly performs in Estonia, Lithuania, Germany, Finland, Holland, Canada, Czech Republic, Belgium, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, USA and other countries with chamber ensembles. .
