Night concert marathon festival NESSUN DORMA invites listeners to a recital by pianist Vaida Kirvelytė "Poetic visions" - a subtle journey through the world of romantic piano music, where images of nature, memories, inner states and poetry merge.

The program will be opened by Roberto Schumann's cycle "Forest Scenes" ("Waldszenen") - nine musical miniatures that open a romantic dialogue between nature and the human soul. Wandering through the forest paths, the listener encounters lonely flowers, mysterious places, hunters, a prophetic bird, and finally reaches a silent farewell. Later, the late waltzes and mazurkas of Fryderyk Chopin will continue this journey in another form - it will be a world of memories, longing and inner lyricism.

This program is very close to the artistic nature of the pianist herself. Vaida Kirvelytė's interpretations are described by educators and music authorities as poetic, spiritual, subtle and full of sound colors. Professor Mūza Rubackytė has emphasized her "subtle romantic perception of music, clear and precise pianism and aesthetic understanding of the spirit of the work", while the legendary pianist Vera Gornostajeva singled out her "poetic nature, spirituality and lively expression".

M. Educated at the K. Čiurlionis School of Arts, the pianist studied at the Moscow State P. Tchaikovsky Conservatory, later perfecting her skills in Munich, in the class of Professor Gerhard Oppitz. The laureate of international competitions has performed in Lithuania and abroad, participated in significant festivals, and today she is passing on her experience to the students of the National M.K. Čiurlionis School of Arts.

In the evening, the listeners of "Poetic Visions" are not waiting for a demonstration of virtuoso effects, but a sensitive and meaningful conversation in the language of music - one in which Schumann's romantic visions and Chopin's lyrical memories are combined into a single poetic story.

After the concert, the audience is invited to stay for the media opera "ČIURLIONIS: MATAU MUZIKĢ" session, which extends the theme of the evening and opens up a world where sound becomes color and color becomes music.
