Continuing the unique Open To The World festival, ISM Choir Bel Canto presents an exceptional concert experience. in 2026 December 12 the festival presents the Americana music phenomenon and the only Avi Kaplan and choir project of this scale in Europe. Almost 100 performers from Lithuania, the USA, Sweden and the United Kingdom will take part in it: Avi Kaplan, the best European male choir "Zero8", ISM choir "Bel Canto", vocalist Blake Morgan of the British ensemble "Voces8" and others. Avi Kaplan's only concert and his first visit to the Baltic States. Avi Kaplan is a famous American singer and songwriter, the former lead singer of the platinum-selling a cappella group Pentatonix. In the music world, he is appreciated for his exceptionally low, deep and warm bass and his wide vocal range. in 2017 starting his solo career, Avi Kaplan was already one of the most prominent voices in modern vocal music. After leaving the pop group, he turned to indie, country, blues and roots rock style music, which is dominated by natural vocals and acoustic instruments. Avi Kaplan's solo albums and singles - "Floating on a Dream", "Move Our Souls", "Peace Somehow" and others - generate millions of monthly streams (over 200 million in total) on music platforms and tens of millions of views on Instagram, TikTok and other social media. This genre is also characterized by precise two- or three-part harmonies. Lyrics are essential to Americana. Most often, these are works written in a narrative style (storytelling), reminiscent of letters, diaries or short stories. Key themes include working class concerns, provincial life, personal dramas and social issues such as inequality or the environment. In recent years, Americana has become a prominent trend in the American independent scene, often presented at festivals and concerts as a modern but traditional music. Exclusive content and concert experience at Christmas in Vilnius In this exclusive program of OTTW'26, Avi Kaplan will present his greatest hits, intriguing duets with Voces8 vocalist Blake Morgan and a specially prepared program for this evening with Europe's best male choir Zero8 and ISM choir Bel Canto. Most of the pieces have been arranged and adapted for choirs by Avi Kaplan and Blake Morgan himself, so this evening will have a unique sound that can only be experienced here.
