2024 in July on the 16th at 7 p.m. traditionally, singing actor Kostas Smoriginas will host a concert in the summer terrace of the music bar "Artistai". Here he will present a two-part program of his best songs, in which the audience's favorite pieces will be played.
K. Smoriginis will be supported on stage by his loyal companion, his song arranger, composer Audrius Balsys and guitar virtuoso Martynas Kuliavas.
This concert is like a retrospective of K. Smorigin's path: from the songs composed in his youth, from the period of the "Actors Trio" to new lyrics written by the poet Rimvydas Stankevičius, exclusively for the actor's roles. Throughout the program, the creator's reflections on life and service, the position of the artist and his place in society run through the red line. The artist speaks in his unique, recognizable style - briskly, suggestively, wisely, ironically and hopefully about what is important, what hurts, what makes you happy, what makes you sad.
K. Smoriginas has been working with his friend, composer, arranger for many years. The talented and sensitive musician has arranged several CDs and vinyl records, created music for performances. Martynas Kuliavas, a guitarist with many years of stage experience, will also be on stage, and his virtuoso playing of the guitar will give new shades to the songs of K. Smorigins loved by the audience.
