Embedded music festival Muzika Erdvėje'26 HELLO, WORLD www.muzikaerdveje.lt CLOSING 2026.09.19 | SATURDAY | LNDM Radvilų Palace, south building 18:00 tour 18:30 concert at the closing event of the Embedded Music Festival "Music in Space" - international guests from Canada - NO HAY BAND. This Montreal-based avant-garde music collective was awarded the prestigious Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation Ensemble Prize (2026), confirming their innovative approach in the field of contemporary music. The festival code HELLO, WORLD will be rethought by the ensemble through a deep listening experience, as if testing how much we can still be in analog states. The ensemble will present to the festival audience the unique piece "Three Unisons for Four Voices", specially commissioned by the ensemble, created by Sarah Davachi, one of the most outstanding creators of contemporary ambient and experimental music. It is a 70-minute acoustic experience for strings, brass, percussion and Ondes Martenot electronic instrument. As the performers slowly syncronize and re-align with each other, the listener's ear begins to focus on the acoustic interstices, thus asking what it means to experience sound as working in unison. Before the musical part, at 6:00 p.m., festival listeners are invited to a tour that reveals a multi-layered perspective of time in Vilnius, which is increasingly changing its face and gentrifying, which also echoes in the experience of listening to the piece. The Radvilos were one of the most famous aristocratic families in the history of Lithuania, which, in addition to their military exploits and political achievements, were also famous for their excellent education and artistic taste. However, the fate of Jonušas Radvila's palace was not as favorable as that of the family after which they are called today. 17th century the built palace passed from hand to hand for a long time, was blown up, abandoned, restored, with different parts of the palace complex changing their appearance and function. All these traces left by history can be seen today - the stories of the palace's past hidden in the walls are coded with no less bright visions of the future, which will be introduced to the participants of the tour.
