Concert "When violins talk"

When violins talk, music transcends eras and cultures, meeting without boundaries, without distances, without time boundaries.

It is a dialogue in which different times and experiences merge into one living musical narrative.

Irma Bakševičienė studied at the M.K.Čiurlionis School of Arts, studied Lithuanian music and theater Academy,

(class of Prof. I. Armonaitė, Prof. R. Katiliaus), where he obtained a master's degree. She is the laureate of several national and international

competitions, including: H.Eller violinist competition in Tallinn (1st prize, 1992), C.Nielsen violinist

competition in Odense (Denmark).

In 1991, the performer founded a string quartet together with her classmates, with which she performed In Lithuania, Germany, Finland,

England, Switzerland, Poland, Belgium, Holland, etc. The violinist also actively plays music in other ensembles,

for many years she participated in the programs of the early music ensemble "Musica Humana".

Since 1995. I.Bakševičienė plays in the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, she is currently the orchestra's second concertmaster.

With the LKO she performed in the most famous concert halls of Lithuania, Europe, Japan, Australia, South America.

Dalia Suraučiūtė studied at the M.K. Čiurlini School of Arts, studied at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater (prof. R. Katiliaus kl.)

she continued her studies in an assistantship-internship at the P. Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow.

The performer is the concertmaster of the second violin group of the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra. She has played with the world's most famous conductors and soloists,

concerted in many famous concert halls in various countries in Europe, Asia, Australia, South America.

D. Suraučiūtė also actively plays music in chamber ensembles, her repertoire consists of music of various genres.
