Finally, after a two-year break, Ambulance on Fire released their third album and the first vinyl record (Juoda Banga)

The album matured for two years: It is the journey of the inner animal (spirit animal) - the hare - and its constant transformations into playful, sharp, tender and sad. Balancing between trusting the process, losing control, feeling hopeless and surrendering to the situation. Hare - bringing abundance, predicting a creative and bright future. Listening, noticing the inner animal of another. The album's song titles encode the points of the ever-moving hare's map, where he has to accept crushing sadness, apologize to himself, chase the ever-expanding joy, search for answers to recurring questions, what is the meaning of it all and what to do. And where else is always accompanied by the feeling that it is necessary to multiply love around. Finally, the hare (hare) falls in love herself and gets stuck in a dream of never-ending, melting Bermuda ice cream...

Artists: "The album is a story - a lyrical character's journey from great sadness and hopelessness to a relief-inducing surrender to the rhythm (with a touch of naivety) ).The lyrics are inspired by the personal experiences of the performers. We don't let go of our main instruments: bass, flute, voices, electronics (it's true, Mēta's voice is heard significantly more in this album than in the past. "Ambulance on Fire" - duet of Jūras Elena Šedytė and Mēta Gabrielė Pelegrimāitė. Using unusual combinations of different music styles, improvisation and composition knowledge, the performers create a subtle eclecticism that reveals the desire not to over-categorize and not look at musical styles in a stereotypical way. In the synthesis of live and electronic instruments, textures intertwine, lyrical and sometimes sharp melodies are born, lo-fi and experimental music motifs emerge, complemented by dark dance music rhythms. The lyrics gently evoke a sense of empathy, draw attention to human states such as anxiety, anger or fear, which are even more evident in the surrounding musical atmosphere.
