This concert by the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra is dedicated to the memory of the violinist, the long-time principal of the collective, Eugenijas Urbonas (1946–2023). From 1972, E. Urbonas played in this orchestra for 46 years, at one time he was also its artistic director, he organized concert activities in Lithuania and abroad, he was distinguished by special professionalism, hard work and demandingness. His loss deeply affected his relatives and colleagues, so a concert with a program of works by his favorite composers is a very meaningful sign of remembrance and respect. E. Urbon's daughter, also a violinist, Monika Urbonaitė, remembers that "father was very fond of romantic music, the works of Johannes Brahms, Antonín Dvořák, often listened to the latter's Piano Quintet in A major, so we wanted him to play in the memorial concert".

Eugenijus's contribution not only to the life of the orchestra, but also to the entire cultural history of Lithuania is immeasurable", these are the thoughts of his colleagues, orchestra artists.
