"Slabodkės Vyšnelė" is a warm and nostalgic musical performance by actor and musician Dominyks Vaitiekūnas, in which real stories from the life of Dominyks and his family sound.

Relatives' parties at Uncle Antanas' garage, the gang of doctors running rampant in Kaunas, adventures in the Soviet women's prison, carpet hanging on the wall and early 90s business activities that relatives engaged in as soon as Lithuania regained its independence. These are just a few details that decorate the story and make the spectators of the performance smile and laugh, and later wipe away a tear after hearing that beneath the fun details of life lies the not always easy destinies of people.

The performance was born after a 27-year break after visiting his aunt Genuta, whose house in Vilijampole seemed to Dominyk like a fairyland or the most distant and luxurious foreign country. in 1994 The shop "Vyšnelė" opened by my aunt in Vilijampolė was like a gateway to the western world: imported sweets and boxes of the favorite chewing gum "LOVE IS" as evidence of a luxurious life.
