Santa Šillere is a jazz singer and composer from Latvia with colorful vocal range and talent as a storyteller. As a musician of the younger generation, she brings her own perspective to the genre, combining rich jazz traditions with modern influences to create her own unique sound. In October 2023, Santa released his debut album "Other Ways", which was nominated for the Latvian Radio and Latvian Television Culture Award in the category "Debut of the Year" and received strong reviews in the Baltic and European jazz media. Her composition "Crystal light" was also included in the Latvian jazz selection CD for the biggest European jazz trade fair Jazzhead 2024.
Santa and her jazz quintet are ready to meet the audience of Jazz Cellar 11 to celebrate the release of her debut album Other Ways and spend time together in a great energy where music combines jazz traditions with modern influences, offering listeners a unique musical experience.
