Immerse yourself in a world of beauty, where clear longitudinal flute melodies intertwine with the nightingale song, and the soft sounds of an ancient harp will invite you to plunge into silence. The compositions of the medieval, renaissance, and baroque eras that will be played at the concert will be combined with nature themes and a meditative mood. Listeners will hear Perotin, Guillaume de Machaut, J. Van Eyck, J.M. works by Hotteterre and other composers, pilgrim songs from the Cantigas de Santa Maria, traditional Irish music and improvisations on the ancient harp.

Ancient Harp. This is the 15th century. a copy of a harp, also called a Gothic or early Renaissance harp. Such harps are extremely rare today and are more often found in museum displays or in old paintings, frescoes or manuscripts. In the past, they were played by wandering poets and harpists of European estates.

Ieva Baublytė is the only performer of the Gothic harp and longitudinal flute in Lithuania, and one of the few specialists in Old Music in Lithuania. Ieva completed her Renaissance and Baroque music studies in Switzerland, at the prestigious Institute of Early Music, Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. The music she performs is characterized by great softness, depth, and color.

The performer actively performs as a soloist and together with chamber music ensembles - in recent years she performs early baroque music programs together with the Chiaroscuro ensemble, participates with the international troupe Camerata dei folli in interactive musical performances (director Adrian Schvarzstein), and together with Beatriče Baltrušaityte performs medieval and renaissance musical stories for children.

Together with various ensembles and as a soloist, Ieva Baublytė was repeatedly invited to perform at various festivals not only in Lithuania, but and in Norway, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Poland and elsewhere, as an ancient harp soloist, she played music during the NATO summit in Vilnius. Ieva has already performed her latest solo program "Night Harp" in Panemune and Biržai castles, as well as at the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Oslo, Norway.
