W. A. Mozart's work, which he started to write in the last years of his life, remained unfinished - instead, it is surrounded by mysteries and legends. One of them is that W. A. Mozart, when writing the commissioned piece, had a bad feeling that he was writing it... for his own funeral. Already seriously ill and sensing his impending death, the composer asked his students to complete the work - using W.A. Mozart's sketches, the composer's style and repetitions, they finished the score of the "Requiem" after the death of the great composer. The work became a kind of meditation on human fate, a journey through everyone's life and feelings. Tonight, opera soloists Austėja Zinkevičiūtė, mezzo-soprano Ieva Prudnikovaitė, tenor Karolis Kašiuba and bass Raimundas Juzuitis will perform "Requiem" by W. A. Mozart. The Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra will be conducted by the artistic director and chief. conductor, maestro Gintaras Rinkevičius.
