Revancha De Piazzolla – an exclusive concert in the Vilnius tango theater.

On this special evening, the music of one of the most outstanding and innovative creators of tango - Astor Piazzolla - is revived in the Vilnius Tango Theater, masterfully rendered by maestro Povila Jaramin, singer Agnė Sabulytė and Vilnius Tango Theater dancers Veronica Gabriela Luna, Emmanuel Riquelme, European tango champions Ruth Keller and Alexis Gonzalez.

Astor Piazzolla, often called the tango revolutionary, fundamentally transformed traditional tango and gave it a new direction. He not only expanded the boundaries of tango, but also gave this musical genre a lasting legacy. The innovativeness and courage of his work made tango more than a dance or music - it became a language of emotions understood by all. His work was not limited to the musical traditions of South America - Piazzolla crossed the boundaries of the genre, interweaving jazz improvisations and elements of classical music. This is how Tango Nuevo was born, a modern and intellectual style of tango that was accepted and appreciated both in Buenos Aires and in the world's biggest concert halls. Tonight on the stage of the Vilnius Tango Theater Piazzolla's works are reborn, and maestro Povilas Jaraminas, perfectly those who know this genre of music will be impressed by the subtle interpretation and deep emotional nuances. "Revancha De Piazzolla" invites you to immerse yourself in another intellectual, dramatic and passionate journey through the world of tango, during which we will be accompanied not only by well-known and popular works of Astor Piazzolla, but also by other less familiar songs and tango dance masterpieces of the composer.
