"LENsemble" (Lithuanian Ensemble Network) presents an intriguing program carefully prepared together with Thomas Hummel, a German composer and creative employee of one of Europe's most important electronic music studios, Experimentalstudio des SWR.

Currently, the world is passing the threshold of the universal distribution and establishment of artificial intelligence. The program dedicated to this topic - the intersection of live and virtual life, the dialogue between human and algorithmic nature - will invite you to listen to the open connections between these two worlds.

GLOBAL CHALLENGES

Humanity is quietly deciding its future. As the world stands on the brink of the pervasiveness of artificial intelligence, which could change the fabric of society, scientists warn ominously that we will soon cross a "red line" beyond which climate damage will be irreversible, as the earth's population surpasses 8 billion and the doomsday clock ticks. in the last minutes to midnight, it becomes clear that global challenges can change our future and everyday life at any time. How do we see and react to these threats and the future of humanity, and why, even when we are aware of the extent of the threats, are we unable to focus on saving the world?

This year's festival "Muzikos ruduo" looks at problems relevant to the entire world or regions from an anthropological perspective - from the impact of consumerism on the environment to the number of people in the world, from the scarcity of fresh water to the threats of robotization. How are these themes reflected in the works of composers, in the world of music, in our everyday life and in our perception of it? While continuing to develop the international program, the festival will also offer an important opportunity for the exchange of ideas, their global contextualization - the presented foreign creators and performers will expand the range of relevant topics, their access and perception and will allow us to listen even more widely to the mirror of global threats presented to us by music, as well as possible the future(s) of mankind.
