IX INTERNATIONAL ŠIAULI PIANO DUOT FESTIVAL - MAY 16, 2024. CONCERT IN VILNIUS "Organum" concert hall (Savanorių pr. 1) Start: 19:00 Piano duos: LAURYNA ŠABLEVIČIŹĖ and NICHOLAS ASHTON (Re:Sono) Lynch, Pratt, Britten, Čemerytė GUODA GEDVILAITĖ and SIMONAS POŠKABizet, Poulenc, Saint-Saëns INTERNATIONAL PIANO DUE FESTIVAL OF ŚIAUL presents famous Lithuanian and foreign piano duets to the audience, organizes a competition of young piano duets and an educational program. The festival has been held in Šiauliai since 1993. The festival is organized by the Public Institution "Community Civic Activities Projects", in cooperation with Saulius Sondeckis Arts Gymnasium in Šiauliai, Radviliškis, Akmene, Joniškis, Kuršėnai, Pakruoj and Kelmė children's music schools. The festival is under the patronage of Šiauliai Mayor Artūras Visockas. The artistic director of the festival is Rimantas Vingras. The project is financed by the Lithuanian Council of Culture, supported by Šiauliai City Municipality and Piano Salon "Organum". The partner of the festival is Povilas Višinskis Public Library of Šiauliai County.
