Classical music concert to celebrate Women's Day

Julija Stupnianek-Kalėdienė-Soprano, Soloist of Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theater, who created more than twenty main soprano roles. The soloist is actively performing in Lithuania and abroad, with a lot of songs from German, French, Italian, Russian and Lithuanian authors at chamber concerts. The soloist worked with conductors Saulius Sondeckis, Jonas Aleksa, Juozas Domarkas, Liutaur Balčiūnas, Martynas Staškus, Vytautas Viržonis, Modestu Pitrėnas, Sesto Quatrini, Robertas Šervenikas, Donatas Katkus, Algirdas Vizhnig. and Manfred Honeck. He studied with such prominent pianists as prof. P. Geniušas, prof. H. Radvilaitė, prof. I. USS-Armoniene and Assoc. V. Dabkutė. Back in her studies, she started to cooperate with Lithuanian and foreign singers. The repertoire of the pianist-concertmaster is very wide, but most of it goes into the vocal music of Benjamin Britten, German romanticists and contemporary Scandinavian music.
