Veronika ChiChi needs no introduction to jazz lovers in Lithuania, as she is not only the vocalist of the well-known retro jazz group "The Ditties", but also one of the most prominent jazz vocalists in Lithuania, whose music is full of both traditional jazz improvisation and modern jazz grace. The title of her debut album, A Singer of a Thousand Faces, aptly reflects the various expressions and styles she incorporates into her work.
This evening is special - Veronika and her quintet will perform not only the works of the Namai program, which are loved by the listeners, but also the continuation of this program, new works, which are appearing more and more and which will probably be written for a new album soon. Veronika - a mature jazz composer and a strong leader of her group, Veronika brings boldness and playfulness to her compositions and interpretations of jazz standards. Her voice is known for its ability to touch the souls of listeners, creating a deep and emotional connection.
The ensemble is decorated by Veronika's bright and charismatic stage partners, also known as No Name Jazz Fells - Dmitrijus Golovanovs, Domantas Razmus and Artūras Duckis - who fascinate Lithuanian and foreign listeners with their bold and technical improvisations, as well as percussion master Arkadijus Gotesmans.
Veronika's group appeared at many Lithuanian festivals and received international recognition, playing at Cairo Jazz Festival in Egypt, Leopolis Jazz Festival in Lviv, Ukraine, Saulkrasti Jazz Festival in Latvia and Opus Jazz Club in Budapest.
Her participation in the international project "Jazz Exchange" together with musicians such as Bojan Z and artists from Serbia and Luxembourg shows her dedication to music and big ambitions. The project led to performances at the prestigious Like A Jazz Machine festivals in Luxembourg and the Novi Sad Jazz Festival in Serbia, culminating in the recording of an album which is currently in the publishing process.
