"No Name Jazz Fellas" is a phenomenon and an ideology born from Dmitriy Golovanov's reaction and desire to put music against the media and society. networks for distorted industries. The leader of the trio - Dmitirjus Golovanovas - is one of the most influential and active figures of modern Lithuanian jazz, an active public figure and pedagogue, president of the Lithuanian Jazz Federation, holder of Lithuanian and international awards and deservedly named one of the best Lithuanian jazz pianists today.
Their music is based on elements familiar to the listener - rhythm, harmony, melody - but their bold experimentation and openness to the unexpected does not allow them to be confined to one genre. They buck the modern trend of seeking popularity over creative certainty, and their title is part of that message.
