It's been exactly a year and after a break they are back on the walls of Jazz Cellar 11 club. The free moments and new experiences of the first year of motherhood inspired creativity and the recording of a new album.
This concert is a unique opportunity to hear a never-before-heard program, to experience how many different colors can be discovered in the fellowship of Girmantė and the musicians, and to warm souls and hearts on a dark midwinter evening.
The concert will feature original jazz-folk arrangements from the albums Upės, FolkTales, Ethnic Mood, and songs from the new album "Lullabies of the Sleeping City".
Girmantė is a well-known Lithuanian singer with a strong and recognizable voice. He became recognized and loved by listeners thanks to many long-term collaborations with different musicians.
Andrejus Polevikovas is a pianist who has been actively performing on the Lithuanian and foreign music scene for the last twenty years and nurturing his creative activities. Andrejus Polevikov is also a composer and arranger, actively engaged in pedagogical activities. His and Girmantė's creative tandem is even recorded in several original albums.
