French electronic music master Franck Vigroux, who surprises with his original audiovisual performances and is already well known to the Lithuanian audience, will perform in Vilnius. Together with his creative partner, video artist Antoine Schmitt, he will organize an intensive audiovisual performance "ATOTAL". This art project seeks to reconstruct the methods that totalitarian regimes use to stifle critical thinking and will, bombarding with repetitive sounds and sending subliminal messages, ultimately breaking their own system and offering a salutary escape. An impressive show is being held on October 26. in the contemporary culture space "Kablys+Kultūra".

Franck Vigroux - creator and performer of electronic music and experimental audiovisual art, who started his activities in 2002 m. The French musician is a multi-faceted artist whose work combines electroacoustic, experimental electronic music, improvisation, avant-garde rock, compositions for contemporary music ensembles, radio works, music for the theater and other genres. F. Vigroux skillfully controls not only electronics - he started his musical career as a guitarist.

However, the artist gradually moved away from the guitar and plunged into live electronics and electroacoustic creations. F. Vigroux creates concept albums that combine music with historical and philosophical references. His music is characterized by tectonic tensions, rhythms, electronic textures and a very unique approach to sound exploration. It is recognized that F. Vigroux's uniqueness lies largely in his creative way of integrating new media and performing arts. "I come from a family of workers, I worked as a construction worker in my youth. When I started creating in the performing arts, working with theater directors and choreographers, I immediately saw that my music could connect with these different mediums. By the way, I have never considered myself a talented musician - but I am talented enough to create a track that goes well with other forms of art," F. Vigroux told the arts magazine STIRworld.

He now organizes exceptional interdisciplinary performances and audiovisual concerts and collaborates with visual artists such as Antoine Schmitt and Kurt d'Haeseleer.
