Facial Tumour Booking together with the Kirtimų Culture Center presents: One of the strangest and most enduring visions of psychedelic music - Gong from the United Kingdom - will come to Vilnius.

Since 1969, the group's founder David Allen has been bringing his spiritual, metaphysical and cosmic ideas to the ever-changing Gong collective, which from the beginning existed more like a mythological universe than a regular rock. band.

Daevid Allen assembled the current Gong line-up before his last album I See You, making it clear that he didn't want Gong to end with him. The group was invited to continue the journey "to new unknown heights and depths" - further than anything Allen himself could have ever imagined.

For more than a decade, this lineup became the most stable in Gong history, writing, recording and performing together after Allen's death. Live, Gong remains a dynamic, expressive and explosive force: psychedelic rock, cosmic improvisation, krautrock pulse and jazzy freedom merge here into a continuous, hypnotic flow.

Gong's music still lives on with the original idea of the band - freedom, experimentation and constant movement forward without giving in to mirages of nostalgia. It is not a museum legend, but a still active, changing organism continuing its journey through unknown sonic horizons.
