On Tuesday, December 17, at 8 p.m., another special concert of warming authentic music will be held at the Kirtimiu Cultural Center.
This time we have invited musicians from distant Burkina Faso to Vilnius - KKC will perform traditional music of this African region. presenting group BURKINA AZZA.

"Burkina Azza" in Bobo language means "Burkina griot", and griots are the storytellers and musicians of African tribes.
The group members are five brothers who come from the Djibas region in northwestern Burkina Faso and now live in Ouagadougou. They seek to share the musical traditions and history of their land, while accepting the influence of modern African music.
The musicians play the balafon, and also use such percussion instruments as the Djembé, Bara, Tama, Doum, and the stringed instruments Kora and N'Gon. ). The brothers continue the tradition of this ancestral music handed down by their father.
BURKINA AZZA performed at important festivals such as FIMU, Le rêve de l'Aborigene, Sam'Africa, Africajarc, participated in solidarity initiatives, etc.
p>The band's rich and diverse performance will take listeners on a journey of initiation from the streets of Ouagadougou to the most remote villages of Burkina Faso, and will also be surprised by the abundance of African sounds, hand-made instruments and costumes that please the eyes and ears.
