Monday, May 19, at 7 pm, will host a two-part concert at the Kirtimai Cultural Center to redefine the piano strings and keys. The program includes three Greek Pythia Trio, playing contemporary music and connecting different areas of art, as well as preparing the piano and its sound with the electronics mixed duo from Lithuania Pipi Duo. Style ="Text-Align: Justify;"> Pythia Trio (Myrto Akrivou, Iro Menegou and Thalia Papadopoulou) Sounds louder in the Greek world of contemporary music, and are active in many European countries. The trio seeks to present works of the most advanced Greek and foreign composers. Style ="Text-Align: Justify;"> The trio will present the Wyrd program during the event. From Greek mythology to Scandinavian and Anglo -Saxons, Wyrd is anxiety caused by an unpredictable and inevitable verse of life and destiny. Based on this idea of inevitability, the Pythia Trio asked four composers (Danes Belosinof, George Chan, Alexandra Markes, Andys Skordis and Filippos Raskovic in Vilnius) to create original works. The prepared piano and live electronics, and combining traditions with innovation creates unique performances.
