The quartet “Jazz In Case,” made up of young and talented musicians, invites you to an evening of live jazz pulsing with energy.
It is one of the few young ensembles in Lithuania performing traditional jazz and consciously nurturing the sound traditions of this genre. The quartet aims to preserve the authentic spirit of jazz—from stylistic nuances and rhythmic language to the freedom of improvisation that turns each performance into a living musical dialogue.

The club “Muzikos Stotis” strives to provide opportunities not only for established performers but also for those just beginning their creative journey, allowing audiences to discover emerging talents. This concert is exactly that kind of opportunity.
The program will feature original compositions by the quartet’s initiator, pianist Justas Selenis (a student of the renowned pianist Richard Banis), filled with subtle harmonies and improvisational adventures, as well as energetic swing pieces and jazz classics. Listeners will hear jazz standards by legendary composers such as John Coltrane, Dave Brubeck, and Michael Brecker, along with a touch of Latin-style music.
This concert is an invitation to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of live jazz, where spontaneous improvisation, rhythmic freedom, and the musicians’ interaction create a unique mood for the evening. The music of “Jazz In Case” is both a respectful look at jazz tradition and its living continuation on today’s stage.
