Tonight, the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, conductor Robertas Šerveniks and soloists are sending musical postcards from the 18th century. help - 19th century Ave. Vienna. The first records that the Italian Antonio Salieri arrived in Vienna at the age of sixteen and lived there until his death. 18th century in the second half, Salieri was the most influential musician in Vienna, for 40 years he was the kapellmeister and composer of the imperial court and the conductor and leader of the Italian opera. He created the symphony in D major, "La Veneziana", from the musical material of the overtures of two of his operas - "The School for the Jealous" and "The Unexpected Departure". On the second card - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Concerto for Flute, Harp and Orchestra in C major, KV 299 - is his only opus in which the solo part is written for the harp: in those days, a duet of harp and flute was really unusual. The genius creator made an effort for the concert soloists to show what they are capable of: the parts are rarely complicated.
The solo parts will be performed by harpist Aistė Baliunytė-Dailidienė and Polish flutist Łukasz Długosz, who graduated from the Munich School of Music, the Paris Conservatoire and Yale University. He has earned the title of winner in international competitions, performed on stages such as New York's Carnegie Hall, Vienna's Musikverein and Konzerthaus, Berlin's Konzerthaus, Munich's Herkulessaal and others. A. Baliunytė-Dailidienė, who graduated from the National Conservatoire of Paris, is a laureate of many international competitions, an active participant in various music projects, many concerts as a soloist, artist of chamber music ensembles and various orchestras in Lithuania and abroad.
The third postcard mentions Ludwig van Beethoven's Fourth Symphony in B flat major, Op. 60, created by an amorous and happy author in 1806. Although his engagement to the grafitte Josephine Brunsvik broke off, and his deafness became more and more difficult, echoes of the happiness, joy and bright hopes experienced can be heard in this oft-performed, Beethoven's most romantic symphony.
