Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra together with actor Andrius Bialobžeskis and conductor Egidijus Kavecks invites you to embark on an enchanting journey through the mysterious world of symphonic music. The concert will begin with one of the best works of this genre, British composer Benjamin Britten's (1913-1976) "Young Listener's Guide to the Symphony Orchestra". It is a lively piece full of colors and joy, in which one musical theme reveals the colors, range, and qualities of different groups of instruments in a symphony orchestra.
After getting acquainted with the features of the instruments of the symphony orchestra, we will invite you to listen to the fun, charming, sparkling compositions of the legendary Austrian composer, the King of Waltz Johann Strauss (1825-1899), creating a real festive atmosphere. . They will be followed by the "Children's Symphony" by the German composer, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's father, Leopold Mozart (1719-1787), an intriguing piece in which the chamber orchestra is gradually supplemented by new children's instruments.
