The musical background for this evening will be multi-instrumentalist Skirmantas Sasnauskas- a jazz improvisation master capable of unifying different musical worlds in unexpected ways. His playing trombone, or maybe other instruments, will add to each poem in a peculiar mood, allowing poetry to gain new sound shades.
It will not be just readings or concert - it will be a living dialogue between music and word, between creators and audience ; This is an evening where each note and every word will come together into a unique experience that only sounds here and now.
This event is part of the Music Magic Club event cycle "Rows and Music Stained Glass". Since February 23, on Sunday afternoons, at 4:00 pm, poetry, the most famous Lithuanian readers, actors and poets themselves, and readings with a variety of interpretations are accompanied by live music in the cozy chamber hall. Alongside the queues, we also enjoy the events of singing poetry.
Julius Keleras-Lithuanian poet and translator known for his poetic works and poetry books. He was also awarded the Maironis Name Prize and is considered an important figura in modern Lithuanian poetry.
Skirmantas Sasnauskas - Jazz Trombonist, Composer and vocalist, known for his work by combining jazz with Lithuanian folk music. /p>
Music and poetry are verses of queues accompanied by music, mostly improvisations performed by high -level professionals.
