Two world-class artists Annette Maye (Germany) and Arkadijus Gotesmanas (Lithuania) prepared a universal language - like Esperanto - improvisational music program
Annette Maye (bass clarinet) and Arkadijus Gotesmanas (percussion) will present a contemporary improvisational music program. Just as the Esperanto language uses the vocabulary and grammar of different languages to create a bridge between different groups, so music combines the sounds of different eras and nations, giving birth to new musical ideas.
Music, especially instrumental music, is a universal language that emotions and ideas conveyed by words. It is no coincidence that this concert is dedicated to the 165th anniversary of the birth of L.L. Zamenhof, the creator of the Esperanto language. Esperanto was created as a universal language to promote mutual understanding between different cultures. Literally translated, Esperanto means "one who hopes".
