PREMIERE of the new program of the young generation of violinist Julia Andersson and pianist Paulias Andersson - Duo Andersson, who have already won international recognition.

At the concert, Duo Andersson will perform both classical music masterpieces loved by the public and and opus of Lithuanian contemporary music: L. van Beethoven, C. Debussy, J. Brahms sonatas for violin and piano and the premiere of a new work by Vytautas Germanavičiaus dedicated to the duo will be performed in Vilnius.

In 2024, commemorating Lithuania's accession to the European Union 20 - year, violinist Julija Andersson and pianist Paulius Andersson present the program "Lithuania - in the center of Europe". The preparation of this program was supported by the Vilnius City Municipality.

Duo Andersson was founded in 2019 by the young generation of Lithuanian music - violinist Julija Andersson and pianist Paulius Andersson. The duo aims to present rarely performed opus and conceptual programs to an international audience, actively promotes the Lithuanian music scene abroad and constantly collaborates with contemporary composers by commissioning new works.

In recent years, Duo Andersson has received recognition in international competitions: won the 1st prize at the "PREMIO IL SUONO GIOVANE" competition in Florence (Italy), the "Grand Prix" at the international "Masters" competition in Warsaw (Poland), the 2nd place at the international chamber music competition "Anton Garcia Abril" and many other awards.

Duo Andersson is improving with famous masters of classical music - Kim Kashkashian, Alfred Brendel, Krzysztof Wegrzyn, Adrian Brendel, Paolo Giacometti, Indrė Baikštytė, Audronė Vainiūnaitė, Avedis Kouyoumdjian, Johannes Meissl and others.

In addition to activities in the duo , Julija and Paulius also often perform as soloists with Baltic and European orchestras.
