A concert by Richard Banis and Neda Malūnavičiūtė, full of games and improvisations. Two performers who do not need much introduction will appear at the Music Magic Club again - pianist, composer Richard Banys and singer and flutist Neda Malūnavičiūtė!
Richard promises his own work, but several works by other authors will also be performed on stage, and a lot of music will be born during the concert, in improvisation. In the second part of the concert, Neda will also take the stage - together the performers play not only jazz standards, but also original music and songs by Lithuanian authors, excellent interpretations of time-tested works.
In his own way. Perhaps the most appropriate word to describe the fellowship of the members of the duo, who met ten years ago, was enough time for them to feel each other's moods and emotions well on stage, and to speak the same musical language. It is in Richard and Neda's concerts that there is a lot of playfulness and virtuosic improvisations, which involve the listener and do not let go until the end of the concert!
About the artists:
Richard Banys - pianist, composer, known for his sensitive pianism, free improvisational style and ability to combine original work with interpretations of classical or jazz standards. In his concerts, instant improvisations are often born, which give the performances a special liveliness. One of his most famous projects is the trio Neda / Labutis / Banys.
Neda Malūnavičiūtė - the brightest Lithuanian jazz vocalist and masterful flutist. She exudes emotion and sincerity on stage, and her voice is often used as an equal instrument in the ensemble and often leads to emotional climaxes, encompassing both playfulness and playful spontaneity, and intimate restraint. Neda knows many styles of jazz, she is very familiar with classical music.
