The concert "Ballet for Eight Hands" is a program conceived by four talented pianists who chose a unique form of music, continuing the playful experience of youth. Laureates of international competitions, LMTA graduates Lukas Gedvilas (Lithuania, Estonia), Kamilė Zaveckaitė (Germany, Austria), Lauryna Lankutytė-Levickė (Lithuania) and Gabija Maknavičiūtė-Janavičienė sits again at one piano and prepared an extremely playful, visual and tasteful program. The works of Moszkowski, W. Gillock, M. Theodorakis, K. Grybauskas, A. Lavignac and other composers are specially created or adapted for piano ensembles-duet, trio and quartet piano 4-6-8 hands.
It will not only be a music festival, but also a relatively rare cognition of pianist ensemble music, which opens up the versatile expression and beauty of the piano texture. The pianist quartet, which formed ten years ago, reached the incredible synchronous and synergies, and its sound will be experienced not only with their ears but also with the eyes! A fascinating combination of artistry and innovation, elaborate dances, symphony and ballet arrangements await you.
