In 2024, the Nesun Dorema of the Night Concert-Marathons Festival was founded by the Lithuanian Musicians 'Union ... No one sleeps ... Introduces Lithuanian performers' chamber works and jazz music programs. Serenade (academic music) will be performed every night of the event from 9 pm, and from 11 pm, Jazz Nights. We hope that the music that sounds on long summer evenings will prevent Vilnius residents and guests from the city.
The events in the cozy, open music site have been continuing the old tradition of Lithuanian musicians' activities that have been counting for decades: the event has been interacting with the audience, the opportunity to ask and receive an answer allows you to get to know both music and performers. Saulius Sondeckis' piano is given an additional charm for events on the site. Every concert of professional artists here becomes a real luxury - the sounds of music in a small space of great acoustics unfold the wonderful shades of Oberton.
"Voices and Keys" - an evening of creation of Giedrius Kuprevičius
Composer Giedrius Kuprevičius is one of the most prominent Lithuanian music personalities, whose work has been shaping the country's cultural landscape for decades. His vocal and piano works will be performed by the concert "Voices and Keys" - from well -known to less valuable, but not less valuable scores.
The program is presented by the ensemble "Gijos" - a collective of young music professionals, which formed talented performers from various cities of Lithuania. After starting their activities in 2021, In Šilutė, members of the ensemble today actively perform in Lithuania and abroad, their repertoire covers both classic chamber and opera music.
This concert focuses on the live sound of Giedrius Kuprevičius' music - how the new generation of performers hear and convey it today. This is a great opportunity to hear known composers from another angle - through interpretations of young, creative musicians.
