Rūta Blaškytė (piano) event partner-charity and support fund Baltic Impression Sonata-a musical-literary evening dedicated to the personality and creation of Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis. It is a lively, sensitive and engaging narrative that reveals Čiurlionis as a composer, artist, thinker, loving person. Evening format - 19th -20th centuries. Musical-literary dialogue filled with the spirit of the artistic salon. The directorial solution is consciously based on historical examples of evenings in Warsaw salons. In those salons, Čiurlionis was an expected personality for his ability to create a special spiritual atmosphere. The program is based on Čiurlionis' letters to parents, brother, relatives, Duke Mykolas Oginskis, beloved Sofia Kymantaite. The texts they read open up the Creator's world: his thoughts, feelings, everyday worries, spiritual insights. The literary line is complemented by Čiurlionis' piano music - preludes, mazurk, sonata fragments that sound like internal monologues and creative reflections. The program tone dialogical, emotional, light romantic. The audience is invited not only to listen to, but also to get involved in the mood of the art salon: observe, reflect, feel. This is not just a story about Čiurlionis - an attempt to answer the question of what inspires a person to create. What leads through life - longing for the Homeland, God's feel, love, home warmth, nature, art?
