ATTENTION! We have good news for everyone interested: the concert participants will be joined by a special guest of the event - the flagship of Lithuanian folk metal, the group ŪKANOSE. \m/

"Varang Nord" is a folk metal band from the cold forests of Latvia. They combine harsh death metal riffs with epic accordion chants to create a unique blend of northern pagan folk metal. Their songs glorify mighty historical battles, the bloody sacrifice of warriors to the old Gods, and a merry Nordic feast with never-ending and perpetually foaming beer mugs. Since its formation in 2014 Varang Nord has released four studio albums: "Fire of the North" (2014), "Master of the Forest" (2015), "Call of Battle" (2017) and "Pārķiuņa Uomurs" (2021). Fans are well-known for their music videos, and during that time they have played many shows across Europe, including all the concerts of the European Black Pilgrimage Tour 2023 with the legendary Batushka and Arkona. Until now, the main achievement of the Latvian collective, which has made it famous all over the world, is the victory in the "Wacken Metal Battle" competition of one of the biggest metal music festivals "Wacken Open Air" (WOA) in 2019. This victory not only opened the door to a solid recording studio for the group and earned an invitation to 2022 already played on the big WOA stage, but also made our neighbors famous even outside of Europe.

A blackened death metal project from Riga "Deodium" will appear on stage together in this tour. Its origins are the year 2009, when the guys decided to learn to play musical instruments and immediately created their own band. The lyrical theme of their work revolves around the "individual" and the interaction with his personality, inner world and surrounding environment. In the lyrics, the thought process is complemented by references to social, political, psychological and religious topics.

Another participant in the tour is the Japanese folk metal group "Yomi" with a very unexpected sound. Their songs combine death/black metal riffs with traditional Japanese melodies and harmonies, telling stories of ancient history, glorious battles and mythical heroes of the Land of the Rising Sun.
