2025. January 17 at 7 p.m. to St. The winner of the National Culture and Art Award, singing actor Vladas Bagdonas returns to present his latest work - the CD "Bēk, Bagdonai, bēk" to St. Catherine's Church. Many listeners will be waiting for the maestro - he will be joined on stage by pianist Audrius Balsys and guitarist Martynas Kuliavas, whose instruments are featured in the new album. The song arrangements were made by composer Audrius Balsys. The audience will hear 10 brand new songs by the Maestro. However, those who hope to hear songs composed in the past should not be disappointed either.
How those songs will sound now, what new colors they will acquire after the dust of time has been blown off them, what today's Vladas Bagdon writes and sings about - it's a mystery , which will be revealed only during the only concert in Vilnius, St. Catherine's Church.
The day before Maestro Vladas Bagdon will celebrate his 76th birthday, and on the occasion of his birthday, January 17. he will give the listeners a gift from himself - his latest album - "Run, Bagdon, run".
This program of original songs will be a pleasant discovery for gourmets of musical taste. The compositions played by the fingers of a professional pianist and guitarist will add weight and color to the "Bagdon-like" creation, and the Master's hypnotic, low voice will not leave anyone indifferent.
