As Jonas Mekas sang, music is friendship. Percussionist Dalius Naujokaitis - Naujo, who has lived in New York for 3 decades and has a reputation as an extraordinary musician both in Lithuania and across the Atlantic, is guided by this rule.

On November 28, jazz drummer and composer D. Naujokaitis comes to live music club "Tamsta" for , to host a one-day NoJo FEST here for the second time. And he comes not alone, but with an entire orchestra of friends, the NoJo Airlines orchestra.

The orchestra consists of more than 30 professional musicians who master different instruments. Music for them is a place for unrestrained and unexpected experiments, and there is simply no insurmountable challenge on stage. In addition to the orchestra, the festival will be attended by two more unique groups "Vējeliai" and a completely new group "Dark times light band" formed specifically for this festival "NoJo Fest II".

"NoJo FEST" is a festival - a performance, a festival - a surprise where the music has nothing to do with the music we know, because music is far from being about perfect performance, it's more about feeling the moment and understanding it from the heart. The instrument here becomes the musician, the listener, and the club space.

The creator of the festival, Dalius Naujokaitis, plays in Vilnius the same way as in New York - with friends and acquaintances. All of them are different, all have a distinct character and an authentic musical character. Despite the indisputable individuality of each musician and the accumulated diverse experience in various musical projects, their professionalism and mastery shines even brighter in the colorful collective - the NoJo Airlines Orchestra.

The performance of this ensemble at the live music club "Tamsta" is a historical event that you want to not only experience here and now, but also record for the future. During the first festival, the entire program was recorded and it will be released in the form of a vinyl record by November 28th of the second festival.

In the "NoJo FEST" program of the festival, the audience is waiting for three musical meetings not only with the soul of the festival, the enthusiastic drummer Dalius Naujokaitis, but also and with a large group of his buddies and associates. Moving away from classical forms, looking for new ways of expression, we challenge festival visitors not only to actively listen, but also to get involved in the musical action themselves.

Professor Vytautas Landsbergis will join the wonderful musicians of Lithuania reading poetry dedicated to Jonas Mekas, the young philosopher and musician, drummer - Adomas Budrevičius, artist, poet and musician Eugenijus Varkalis and many other unexpectedly special guests.
