Saulės Dievas is a collective from Vilnius shining in the sky of Lithuanian alternative music, whose work combines the energy of rock, the depth of blues, the softness of soul and the magic of psychedelic. The group draws inspiration from the legendary American rock scene of the 70s, but weaves its works with unique Lithuanian lyrics, reflecting hope for life, self-belief and deepening questions about the universe and human existence.

The history of the group began unexpectedly - in childhood camps. Kastytis and Kipras met again after many years in a store on Saulės street. This coincidence turned out to be fateful - from the renewed friendship a musical idea was born, which quickly turned into the Sun God project. Half a year later, the current drummer of the group, Steponas, joined them, completing the musical portrait of this trio.

The group started its musical journey in 2022 and since then has played more than 80 concerts in different cities and towns of Lithuania. in 2023 they won the audience's favorite prize and took 4th place in Tamsta's "Garažo" competition, and in 2024 became third place laureates in the "Novus" competition.

2024 became a significant year for the group. In May, they presented their debut album "Kažkas Brangaus" - a creative manifesto about inner light and determination to protect the most important values. This eight-track set was recorded live, reproducing the band's natural and authentic sound. In September, Saulės Dievas added to its discography the single "Jis meluoja tau" - this is a soft soul piece that opened new creative colors of the group to the listeners.

During his career, Saulės Dievas shared the stage with many representatives of the Lithuanian alternative music scene - Gamka, Sharuku, Kedrostuburu, Gruodiži, Pijumi Opera and others. Their performances are not only musical, but also an emotional dialogue with the audience, leaving a deep and lasting impression.
